at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital, Mavado grew up in village called
Tremolesworth in St. Mary for his early childhood days after which
he migrated to Kingston where he lived in the ghetto all his life.
Growing up in Cassava Piece was never easy for Mavado or his family,

Bay, Jamaica. As a young boy, Hammond began singing ska and reggae.
His early influences included Jamaican singers Alton Ellis and Peter
Tosh as well as American R&B singers Sam Cooke and Otis Redding.

Tanya Stephens (born July 2, 1973 in Richmond
St.Mary, Jamaica) is one of the most influential Reggae artists that
